National Fitness Day 2016

We are celebrating National Fitness Day 2016 at New Dimensions Fitness Studio and have come up with a fitness challenge for you to do at home, in the gym or the park!  All you will need is a stop watch and a bench or step to complete the tricep dips on.

Try to complete the routine as fast as possible, maybe even challenge a friend to take you on!
Your challenge is – 19 exercises, 19 reps in under 9 minutes!

  1. Star Jumps
  2. Press Ups
  3. Mountain Climbers
  4. Squats
  5. Tuck Jumps
  6. Stepping Lunges
  7. Sit Ups
  8. High Knees
  9. Scissors
  10. Dorothy’s (squat jumps)
  11. Back Extensions
  12. Squat Thrusts
  13. Pike Push-Up
  14. Skaters (jumping side to side from one leg to another)
  15. Side Plank Hip Dips (Right)
  16. Soldiers (straight legs kicks – thigh height)
  17. Side Plank Hip Dips (Left)
  18. Tricep Dips
  19. Burpees

I decided on 19 because that’s how many years I’ve been in the fitness industry!

So far the fasted time completed was;

1st place 5:17 minutes, 2nd place 5:25 and 3rd place 5:36
